A true practice in slowing down. Yin yoga challenges the body by resting into postures for 5-7 minutes to dive beyond the muscle and sink into the fascial tissues. As well as moving deep physically, this is an intentional practice for the mind. Moving away from rigorous movements and slowing down, triggers the brain and brings the challenge of " finding peace within the chaos."
This class begins with a thoughtful flow to open the body, build strength where it's needed, and create space where tension might be held. We'll close out the class with a restorative practice to soften, reset, and connect. You'll end your day feeling clear, grounded and more at home in your body.
A class honoring the foundations of the yoga postures. Breaking down sequencing and dissecting the yoga practice, this class is beneficial for students just starting their yoga journey, or long time practitioners that want an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with the fundamental outlines of a practice.
This mellow flow is designed with athletes and active bodies in mind-especially those who lift, train or move intensity throughout the week. We'll focus on mobility, breath, and intentional movement to restore balance, improve range of motion, and support recovery. Expect deep stretches, gentle strength, and space to slow down. You'll leave feeling more open, rejuvenated and centered as you wind down your day.
