Meet the Doulas

I believe in a world where women are empowered and in awe of their body and intuition. My role as a doula is to bring that inner wisdom and confidence back into the forefront of every birth experience, providing women and families with the knowledge and wisdom of the power of choices, and understanding the role and connection of what it means to step into motherhood from the first moment of conception. I trained with DONA and became a doula in the spring of 2021 and fall even more in love with the practice every birth I attend. I have been a yoga teacher since 2014 and continue to draw in the wisdom of breathing, mental, emotional and physical discomfort management, and introspective, spiritual connection into my birth work. Alongside these teachings, I also put emphasis on the connection and involvement of the partner, or support person, during pregnancy, labor and birth. I will provide a peaceful, accepting, loving and safe space, and I will always honor the wishes and desires of the mother. From my own birth experiences, both medically intervened and non, I will always share the evidence, choice and availability of creating a sense of empowerment for you and the unique experience of every birth.

My husband and I have 2 children who continue to remain our greatest teachers, and in our free time you can always find us in the water or the garden.

I’m a DONA trained birth doula with five years of experience walking alongside women and their partners through the powerful, sometimes unpredictable journey of childbirth. My passion for this work began after witnessing my sisters give birth without the support and care they needed, an experience that left a lasting impression. Years later, when I gave birth to my own children, I was empowered by knowledge and support by a doula, which helped me have unmedicated births that were both challenging and deeply meaningful. That experience inspired me to become the kind of support I believe every woman deserves. I believe that when women are supported, educated and nurtured, they can feel empowered; no matter how they choose to give birth.  As a doula, I provide physical, emotional and informational support to women and their partners, helping them feel confident, connected, and cared for throughout pregnancy, labor and birth.

I am also perusing postpartum work as a natural continuation of this support because I believe women need just as much care and guidance in the days and weeks after birth.

At the heart of everything I do, I'm a wife and a mama to three wild, beautiful boys who inspire me every single day.
